We are a parent-led co-op and need each member to help in various areas in order to run efficiently.
Our parent-led classes for Kindergarten through 12th grade are enrichment-focused and not intended to supplement anything you are doing at home. We also offer a nursery & preschool program for younger siblings. (Nursery is 0-3 & preschool 3-5.) Children must be kindergarten age as of September 1st of the current school year to be enrolled in our classes for that age group.
We do not require that parents teach in order to participate in the co-op. However, we need parents to be willing to teach if they are able and willing to do so in order to offer the amount of classes we need each session. We want parents who feel led to teach to do so and choose a subject which is interesting to them or their children, a talent they have, or a passion of theirs.
Parents must be willing to serve during the 9-week session in regular volunteer and substitute assignments as needed between 8:45am and 1:30pm on co-op days in any combination of roles that will contribute to the overall functionality of the co-op.
