Membership Information
2026-2027 School Year
CVHSC operates on an annual membership model for the 2026–2027 school year. Membership includes both fall and spring sessions.
Co-op Schedule

Fall Session: 10 co-op days over an 11-week period

Spring Session: 10 co-op days over an 11-week period

Each session follows a 5 weeks on, 1 week off, then 5 weeks on schedule

20 total co-op days for the school year

Co-op meets from 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Families may choose one location to enroll in, based on availability

Steps to Be Considered for Enrollment

Review our Statement of Faith to ensure CVHSC is a good fit for your family.

Families must have at least one child in 1st grade (age 6 by September 1 of the current school year) or older.

Nursery, preschool, and kindergarten programs are available for younger siblings.

If CVHSC seems like a good fit, complete our interest form.

Families interested in 2026/2027 enrollment will be contacted in April 2026 when enrollment opens for the upcoming school year.

Families inquiring mid-year for spring enrollment will be contacted in October 2026 if space allows.

Before enrollment can be offered, families must either:

Attend an in-person information meeting (when available), or

Schedule a phone call with a board member

If we do not hear back after reaching out, your family may not be considered for future openings or may be contacted last if you inquire again.

Once enrollment is offered and registration is submitted, the membership fee is due to secure your spot.
Dual Enrollment

Families enroll in one location (Dishman or Barker).

Dual enrollment is typically offered after two consecutive sessions, but may be approved sooner at the board’s discretion.
Other Things to Know

Each location meets once a week during the fall and spring sessions.

We offer field trips, moms’ events, student holiday parties, youth events, and other activities year-round.

Chapel attendance is required for all members during the co-op day.

All participating adults must complete a background check:

Teaching a class is not required to participate.

Offering a strong variety of classes depends on members being willing to teach when able. Occasionally, we may hire outside instructors when a need arises.

Each adult will be assigned volunteer roles during the co-op day.
